I would def go 18-20ft on the riggers much less and it doesn't make sense. I've actually considered double rigging mine even tho they are meant to be single rigged..

I had Rupp custom make me a pair of 29' Tournament riggers and center rigger. They made them to pop out at the base so they can be cleaned in minutes verses being permanently installed and a pain to keep clean. I rigged them as double spreaders as i run tag lines and Dacron loops, just depends on how you fish
