Block Island Boat Basin

I have stayed 1 night at BIB several times, they just won't give you a reservation in advance, you have to take your chances. First or second week of June I would very surprised if they can't fit you in on the dock. The dockmaster there is a nice guy, I think his name is Joe. He lives in a sailboat on the west side of the main dock. Sometimes a little "extra" will help him fit you in. Don't say I told you.

Sorry you won't be able to make it, it would have been nice to have one of the bigger boats around. Still, if you have to miss it a nice ride up the coast sounds like a great trip! 8)

Now your in my part of the world. I can't take the weekend off to go to BI but I could sneak away for a couple of hours.

The "plan" has me getting off in Norfolk on June 7th and flying back from there on a mid to late morning departure.
Subject to weather and trip progress of course.

Well wishes and safe voyage to all attending the BI Rendezvous. With the 280 mile roundtrip and short time frame I sadly am unable to pull it off. :( Cheers to my fellow captains. :)

Thanks for the well wishes! Sorry you can't make it but let's hope this leads to another one next year that you can get to.

Take care!

I would really like to join in, and meet all that are attending, but in-law health issues take priority.
Smooth sailing to all....Red skies....
Perhaps next time....
