Underwater lights

Post by Jkraft »

I’ve never had a boat with underwater lights before and always wanted one so I bit the bullet. Went with lumitec sea blaze x2.

Saw your story on Instagram earlier. I do like the colour change option. I went with the Ocean LED’s last year and the output is just like yours. Do yours have built in temperature sensors so they dim down when underway and they’re out of the water?

Thanks me too! It was a little bit more pricey to go with the color changing ones but it was worth it. Lumitec says you can leave them on indefinitely while being out of the water. No temp sensors needed.

I love my lumitecs. I have 4 Quattros on the Viking. Two I. My 4000 gallon koi pond and a x2 in the pool lol. Been very happy with them. Yours ar looking good. Kinda wish I had put x2 on the Viking but the Quattros are plenty bright for now.

I consider getting Ocean LED for my boat too, but can't decide if 11400 lumens is bright enough or should I get the more expensive 19600 lm model. Currently looking at this one: https://www.boatid.com/oceanled/oceanle ... 62011.html
