Gas, Bilge Switch Plate Repair

Post by Stapper »

Just passing on an a plate replacement that I did for about $6. The old wood plate was rotting so I used a piece of thick plexiglass (6mill) and painted the bottom with black Tremclad. I taping off the top glass will painters tape to prevent overspray. I had to use a little silicone to secure the gas gage and I oversized the mounting holes to avoid cracking.
I just need to add navigation and wiper lables to the pull switches. Cheers Sandra
