New Owner 27FC

Post by Mcaron255 »

Thank you for adding us to the group. My wife and I just purchased a 27FC. We are looking forward to spending time updating and renewing her. There is a wealth of information here and I thank all of the owners for their advice and sharing their experience.

Welcome to AOG, Janet and I had a family cruiser for 5 years before we got our A36. We have many happy memories from her. Tell us about your boat, what motor, equipment. ect. Joe.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. We will be basing our A27 in Tarpon Springs FL. The previous owner did a lot of work on her, but she still needs more TLC. We are looking forward to getting her in shape and enjoying some time aboard.

To answer Joe, she has a Perkins Prima M80T which does not seem to be an engine that was used often in these boats. Does anyone else have an M80T?

The 1990 A27 we just purchased has an M80T. Weare just getting ready to sail Tuggle from Gloucester VA to New Bern. Hope to learn the personality of this engine as we travel.
