hello,

As this is my first post here, I will introduce myself. Born in the Netherlands, 1966, sailed with our family, then with the Sea Scouts where I stayed until my mid 20's (last part as staff) sailing old iron 'Lelievlet' boats that also could be rowed. Last year my wife and I bought a 29' Miller Marine from 1979 in Alameda. We sailed it from the Bay inland to Suisun Bay, where we met a sand bank.
From there we got a tow to Tiki Lagoon marina, near Stockton, in the heart of the Delta.

A tow, because our transmission didn't work. O-22. Now trying to get it off, and find a repair shop.
I'm lucky to get help from Maarten Klop, Albin specialist, who also is from the Netherlands, and who has been very helpful with my questions.

regards,
Bas
