Just had my Albin 36 Express Trawler delivered to Fort Lauderdale. It appears to be the perfect boat for my wife and me at this stage in our lives. We downsized from a DeFever 48 that we had for 15 years, as we are now empty nesters and don't need the room (or the hassles). Looking forward to becoming more familiar with the boat and other owners. I am hoping there will be an Albin rendezvous in the not too distant future.

Is your boat docked up the New River?

If so, welcome to the hood..

No, those 2 Albins are a 31TE and a 35TE.
I live a few canals over and run a 28TE with charter signs on.
Going out tomorrow around 1PM.
Do you live in the house, or you renting the dock?
I have a dock for rent with more protection than you have on the river.
Here is my boat:

Very nice!!! Yes, we live here. I quickly figured out that no one knows what "no wake zone means". I added dolphin pilings and may add whips as well. Sounds like we have enough Albins locally for a mini-rendezvous ... Lake Sylvia ???

Yup, Lake Sylvia is one of my destinations, we go there at least once a week.
Also to Keys and to the Bahamas.
Only met the 35TE guy once, he lives on the canal where the boat is.
Don't know the 31TE guy.

As for No Wake zone: Not really, you are in a Minimum Wake Zone, hence you get beaten up pretty good. The difference can be significant, I believe wakes up to 1.5' or 18" are "allowed" but different definitions out there.
Need whips for sure.
Wave tomorrow around 1PM when I leave for Lake Sylvia, or shoot me an email at csy33 at comcast dot net if you want to meet up.
I live on the 3rd canal the South of you, street is Guava Isle
