Generator support in a 28 te engine box model

Post by Pirate1 »

Sorry for the excessive questions….

In the 28 EB model how is the generator placed in front of the engine..how is it supported and kept off the bilge “floor “

I looked at one in Georgia and it appears to be in a pan, attached to a wood base, on the floor of the bilge…….

Had one in my 28TE engine box forward of the gear as an original Albin install. The install was exactly as you described.

The support tray was painted marine plywood which was as typical, blocks tabbed to the bilge floor and the tray fiberglassed to the tabs and the stainless pan of the generator through bolted to the support tray.
