Where to find O/N official number on 28TE

Trying to federally register my boat for commercial fishing and I can't find my official number O/N..... Anyone with knowledge of this would be greatly appreciated

I don't know what an O/N number is, but the hull ID number is at the very top of the transom on the starboard side. Standard location on any boat as far as I know.

mine was placed on the port side stringer, facing the centerline, next to the transmission

My 28TE was never documented..

You know honestly I'm not sure if it has been documented or not I have time to go down and look at it tomorrow I was just trying to get a heads up on where it might be located. Thank you

Could be anywhere. On our 28TE it was under the hinged stair tread going into the cabin - where the battery switches (typically) are.

Well I check that boat from top to bottom and all the places that you all suggested to look. I was there for a couple of hours I checked absolutely anywhere and everywhere. I am just going to assume that the boat is not coast guard registered. This was my 1st post since I have been a member of this group and I just want to thank everyone for all the support and feedback it was very helpful and I appreciate it very much!!!
