cabinet hardware replacement

Post by gmberkley »

I was hoping someone may be able to direct me to a supplier of cabinet hardware, I'd like to replace the hinges on the medicine cabinet door and also replace two of the slide barrel bolts. I have attached pics of both, with a ruler to show the size, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for replying, I checked out the website for both items, there's nothing remotely close, I did ask if I could send the two pictures to them and see if they can help me, ...........waiting for a reply.

I just did my med cabinet ones with really close replacements from Perko. Thing was they were NOS from a store near me. If you can't find just PM me and I'll pick them up for you next time I'm there.

I did find hinges that are pretty close, but the hatch/bolt I found is over 5" long, I'm told they don't make the 2.5" any longer, did you find the hatch/bolt or hinges, if you found the latch/bolt I would love to take you up on your offer, and reimburse you for any costs you incur, thanks for responding.

Somewhat scary but I took the same picture yesterday as my bottom hinge is quite rusty. I just ordered what I believe are replacement hinges (Sea Dog FLUSH concealed stainless steel cabinet hinges). Should say 2 3/4 inches for the B measurement.

Went through Wholesale Marine. A pair came out to $18 with shipping.

Note they do not come with the 10 mounting screws!

UPDATE - the Seadogs came today, direct replacement. All good.

what's even scarier, I am on the wholesale marine web site, and can only find the semi-concealed hinge, I can't find the flush mount, and I'm still having no luck trying to find the latch/bolt set up in that size.

an older boat, with the manufacturer out of business, makes for a challenge.

The hinges should be on EBay too. I went with Wholesale Marine in case they were wrong and I needed to return but they were an exact fit.
