The aperture for the Origo microwave on my boat, an '05 TEFD measures 18 1/2" wide by 9 7/8" high.

I was looking at pictures of the B+D unit and also searching around trying to get better measurements. And then I looked at the Emerson picture that Mike posted. Noticed the model number of the B+D - EM720CPN-P. I'm 99.9% certain they're the exact same unit. With the "EM" in the model number a big hint, plus B+W appliances website doesn't list a microwave. I think it's an Emerson OEM.

So - if Mike's Emerson fits, the B+D should!

I'm going down to Sonny tomorrow to measure the microwave space. It had one that broke that looked like the size of the one in our 28. The replacement leaves a huge gap. I'm wondering if this fixes my issue too!

Ours is 9.5" and I haven't been able to find anything new that would fit it in my extensive internet travels.

Can't believe it - found a microwave from 1989 at a yard sale for $5. Appears to fit and looks like it was made in the same factory as the one that I had to throw away.

What a lucky find! Looks nearly new, too.

My turn to replace the microwave oven on M/V Odin:
The present oven started beeping and flashing an F-3 error code.
(Thermo sensor inoperative or something)
Not sure how to get the old one out, I see no screws or straps or anything else holding it in place. Any ideas?

Just held in by a lip at the bottom Dag. Lift “n” shift. Good luck with finding a replacement that fits.

I had a bigger issue finding one that fitted at 240v. I went with a daewoo which I can’t remember what model. Think it’s in this thread somewhere.

It worked, but had to do quite a bit of lift and shift and a dose yank as well.

Looks like I have a deck leak in there, the top of the oven is rusty.

Now looking at the various ovens that will fit, this one seems to be a good fit, but not sure if the height includes the feet? (2.6mm to tall)
Otherwise a perfect fit.

Probably not a leak - I suspect condensation. If it were a leak, I don’t think it would just be surface rust. Aim for an oven you can get air round.

Mine was a daewoo QT1 by the way.

Nice size, 9.02 inches tall.
Don’t think they sell it here in the colonies.

The rust might be condensation, but considering that it's directly under a port and a stanchion base, could also be a leak.

I'd be willing to bet that the height on the Farberware microwave includes the feet. Go ahead and order it...send it back if it doesn't fit.

The blue is a no go.
