Dinette table pedestal

Post by Nancy »

The dinette table on our boat is a real pain in the neck. It can only be removed as an entire unit - table and pedestal - so that requires two people. I'd like to make this easier because access to the hatch it sits on is complicated enough:

1. remove the table
2. remove the teak and holly floor
3. unscrew the floor hatch

On our 28TE, the table top could be easily removed from the pedestal. Really wish that were the case here.
