I attempted a rebuild on my 4D61, but after new liners, bearings, etc. the oil pump seized and locked up the again. Didn't have the heart to do it again, so I got a low hour Yanmar to replace it with. I've got a pile of parts that I'd love to find a good home for. Here's a rough list of what I've got. I may have missed something, so message me if you're looking for particular pieces, as I actually have a second block that has some useful pieces still on it.

2 x Cylinder Heads (1 brand new)
2x Starters (Different hole configurations)
2x Injector Pumps
1x Lift Pump
2x Sets of Injectors (1 set thread in/1 set needs hold downs)
2x Fresh water pump (1 new)
1x Raw water pump
1x Heat exchanger
1x Oil Cooler

Don’t suppose you have the brackets that hold the heat exchanger on. Mine went somewhere else before I bought my 27, and I have been reliant on 3 big hose clamps for the past five years. They work just fine but the real thing would a luxury.
Also: where are you based? I’ve been known to drive for parts.

I'd be interested in some of those parts - especially the starter.

I'm located on the east coast of Canada, so not sure about shipping costs.

Can you email prices for what you have? My 4D61 has 2500+ hours, so might time to have some spares bits and bobs.

I do still have all the parts, however I'm down in Antarctica till early June, so unfortunately I'd have to wait till I get back to ship anything.

You back from penguin-land yet? I'd like to see about getting some pulleys off your engine. I'd like to use them to convert my engine to a serpentine drive system.
