Night Vision

Does anybody know how to lessen the light on the instrument panel, or is that what duck tape is for. The GPS and Radar have ways to reduce brightness but the main Board on the 28, I cannot figure it out

I'm not familiar with the instrument panel on the 28, but I'm sure you could rig a dimmer switch to the panel lighting circuit. Shouldn't be hard.

Another good idea might be to replace the bulbs with red ones. Or simply spray paint the existing ones.

Towel over the panel & sneak a peek every once in awhile. Effective & does not cost a penny. I like simple fixes.

Veebyes read my mind. I use the towel method too. I usually just turn it off. Nothing there I need that often. I have a dimmer on the depth and GPS.
