Chesapeake striper fishing

Post by furball »

Well, this was our last trip of the year. Headed out this past Wednesday on a very cold, flat calm December morning. had our lines out by 8:00am and a "over" limit by 10:00.

39", 38" and a 30" were keepers and several more "overs" were sent back. Nice way to end the year! Hauling out on Monday and looking forward to spring.

John,
Great looking fish! That calm water behind you in those pics is one of those perfect mornings on the bay.
I really like the custom transom seat. :)

Great looking fish, I wish we could catch that kind of quality out here. We have them but they are far and few between.

Very nice catch. The big ones are arriving down here and I hope we can match your luck. Our rules in Virginia are apparently different because we are not allowed to keep any striper between 28 and 34 inches. Minimum is 18 inches and only one of the two fish limit can be over 34.
