LOCATION: Fell's Point National Historic District, Baltimore, MD.

GENERAL INFORMATION: This is the 40th annual outdoor street festival held in Baltimore's original deep water seaport, Fell's Point. The festival was originally started as a way to raise funds and draw attention to Fell's Point when the area was slated for demolition due to highway construction. The Fell's Point Fun Festival continues that tradition, showcasing historic Fell's Point, it's businesses, its charming 18th and 19th century residences, and Baltimore City life.

Art & Crafts Row - 100+ Arts and Crafts vendors exhibit handmade, homemade wares.
International Bazaar - 250+ retailers featuring items from around the world.
Arts on Parade - Fine Arts displayed in the City Pier (former home of tv show "Homicide")
The Giving Place - where local Non-Profits outreach to you
Fun Fest Flea Market - find your own "road show" antiques and treasures!

ENTERTAINMENT: The five stages feature rock and roll, bluegrass, jazz, blues, folk, cajun, country, gospel, barbershop, dancing, and much more. The Family and Children's area spotlights a variety of entertainment and creative activities to delight children of all ages.

FOOD: 40+ food vendors in 4 food courts with epicurean delights from around the world....definitely not "festival food".

LOCAL FAVORITES:
La Plaza Hispana - featuring Latino music and bands, salsa lessons, South American cuisines, and retail goods.
Carnival rides - thrills and fun for the young and young-at-heart.

Yeah Chief. They are calling for 3-5 footers, winds gusting to 40 and a chance of rain. Since almost one hr. of my trip would be on the bay, we may not make it.

Looks like our trip to the Inner Harbor is cancelled. If anyone else goes, have a great time.
