Over the last year I managed to get a few fish...and fewer pictures..here are a few:

My wife Candy's first Striped Bass...btw..it took a week to chisel that smile off her face:

Are those saltwater fish? I thought bass were freshwater fish.

We don't have them over here.

Yes, they are a salt water fish. Locally they are called Rock Fish....but are Striped Bass. I think the world record is in the 70+80+ lb. range....the state record in Va. was broken last year in the mid to high 60 lb. range. I'm tickled to get a 30 pounder.....

This is what we call rockfish. They're usually red in color and very bony. They stay right near the bottom in over 200' of water.
