My 2002 Albin 28 TE has a NextGen 3.0 KVA generator and enclosure that I want to remove from the boat. I live in Punta Gorda, FL 33950. If anyone is in the SW Florida area and can help me properly remove it from the boat, it's yours.
When I purchased the boat in December 2022 the generator ran as expected and delivered power as expected. The engine is a Kubota and I would assume parts are available. When I bought the boat the oil sample test showed evidence of sodium, potassium, and glycol. I can share the report. The hours meter shows less than 100 hours. I have the maintenance records from the previous owners.
Since I purchased the boat I tried to start the generator a couple of times and was not able to get it to run. I have not had a mechanic look at it.
