Blue Fin Tuna fishing out of Hatteras

Post by Anthony1013 »

Hey everyone! I am totally late on posting this but I thought late is better than never....

I will be flying to Hatteras NC on Friday this week to meet up with the rest of our tournament fishing team in search of some giant Blue Fin Tuna! We will be fishing the outfit called Tuna Duck Sportfishing. Del spent some time on his boat last year and from what he said, this guy knows how to fish!

We have the boat reserved for the following dates pending weather:

Saturday March 13th.
Monday March 15th.
Thursday March 18th.
Saturday March 20th.
Sunday March 21st.

Dan, the Captain of the Tuna Duck updates his Captain’s page after each trip, here is the link: http://www.tunaduck.com/captain.html

Cheers everyone!

Anthony

The last 2 trips he’s been on they’ve hooked up to 21 Blue Fin Tuna ranging in weight from 140lbs-200lbs! The limit is 1 fish per day for the boat, the rest are tagged and released. This is going to be an amazing trip!!!

As usual, I will be bringing my Spot Tracker along for the days we’re fishing.

To view the contours of the ocean’s bottom, be sure to click on the “Hybrid” option in the upper right hand corner of the map.

You can view my reports for the days fished on the Salmon University site at: http://www.salmonuniversity.com/Warren_Blue_Fin.html#2
