My last work week....again

Post by jleonard »

This is my last working week before I "retire" again and go cruising for the summer. Last summer was awesome, and I took a 6 month contract engineering in October to keep busy during the winter and replenish the cruising funds.
So here we go again...in early June.
This year the plan is to go north via Lake Champlain and cruise the Rideau Canal, Thousand Islands and maybe the western Erie and Finger Lakes...I say maybe because I have to do a precise measurement on my air draft to see if I can get under 15.5 feet...I'm close.
But during May we have a lot of repairs and improvements to make so we'll be busy at Yankee Boatyard in Portland, Ct working on the boat, varnishing, etc.
So hopefully I'll see a few of you along the way...and if you see Attitude Adjustment be sure to stop by and say hello.

Sounds wonderful! I hope you'll be in touch as you come through Lake Champlain. We'd be glad to provide any local guidance you might need, and it's always fun to meet people from various forums.

Sounds great Jay! I'll be looking forward to "hearing" all about it. I'd love to do that run someday, but the air draft is certainly a challenge.
